The Maureen Connolly Brinker Tennis Foundation and Maureen “Little Mo” Connolly will be featured tonight on The Tennis Channel at 6:00 pm Cental and 7:00pm Eastern time.  Please tune in to the show “Players Give Back”.   Set your recorders.  

Nishesh Basavareddy (Carmel, Indiana) and Alexandra Eala (Makati City, Philippines) won the “Little Mo” Grand Slam. They won the first leg in Colorado Springs, Colorado and the second leg in Forest Hills, New York and the third and final leg in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida (December 6-11).  They received the tallest trophy ever given in junior tennis (6 foot tall).   Congratulations to Nishesh and Alexandra!

Today’s match between Charlotte Owensby (Boca Raton, Florida and 4-time “Little Mo” Nationals chapion, defeated Noa Krznaric (Zabgreb, C roatia).  Noa was going for the 3rd let of the Grand Slam.  Charlotte lost the first set 6-1 and came back win the match 7-5, 11-9 in the tiebreaker.
