Austin Mayo receives Gatorade “G” Award at IMG Bollettieri Tennis Academy

Congratulations to Austin Mayo for receiving the prestigious Gatorade “G” Award at the IMG Bollettieri Tennis Acadmey in Bradenton, Fl.  Every week, one camper in every sport is honored for displaying heart, hustle and soul while exhibiting a true desire to become the total athlete.  “Austin Mayo has displayed Attitude, Concentration and Effort on a daily basis and has received recognition by our coaching staff. Our coaching staff strives daily to deliver Quality Instruction within a Competitive Environment and provide all of our summer camp athletes with the Opportunity to fulfill their individual athletic potential.  Athleticism, Strict Discipline, High Work-Rate, and a Winning Mentality are the minimum expectations we have and congratulations to Austin who has excelled.” Austin is from Austin, Texas and trains at the Austin Tennis Academy in Austin, Tx.  He received a tennis camp scholarship for a week to the Academy from the Maureen Connolly Brinker Tennis Foundation.  Austin was a…

Ashok Narayana, former “Little Mo” champ receives honor at International Tennis Hall of Fame.

Ashok Narayana from Houston, Texas  receives the Bill Talbert Sportsmanship Award at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, Rhode Island on July 9, 2011.  He has been praised for his character and prowess on the court many times  over the years. Ashok was awarded both the Bob McKinley Sportsmanship Award and the Clarence Mabry Sportsmanship Award from the Texas section in 2009. He was the Southwest Prep School Champion in 2009 and currently serves as the captain of his school tennis team.  Ashok also excels in the classroom as a consistent Honor Roll Designee and a member of the National Honor Society for French. In his community, he holds a leadership role in “Cure for Cancer” running events. In the fall, Ashok will attend Columbia University, where he will play tennis.  Congratulations, Ashok from MCB.  We are very proud of you.
