Benefiting WTA Charities
You are invited to an exclusive “Q & A” and light buffet lunch with WTA Legend Martina Navratilova and to attend the WTA Finals Fort Worth at Dickies Arena on Wednesday, November 2 from 1:00 – 2:30 pm. Matches will begin at 3:00 pm.
The year-end WTA Finals feature the top eight singles players and top eight doubles teams on the WTA Tour.
This fundraising event will launch the global “WTA Charities Champions for Change” fundraising campaign celebrating the WTA Tour’s 50th Anniversary in 2023 by honoring the most significant contributors to the growth and success of the WTA Tour.
The late Nancy Jeffett, one of only five women contributors elected to the International Tennis Hall of Fame, will be honored on center court as the first WTA Champion for Change. Mrs. Jeffett was the promoter of the Virginia Slims of Dallas, one of the first women’s professional tournaments, and the co-founder of the Maureen Connolly Brinker Tennis Foundation which today continues to serve young tennis players worldwide.
WTA Charities mission is to empower girls and women to live fully and to support WTA communities worldwide through initiatives promoting equality, education, leadership, and health & wellness.
Proceeds from the sale of tickets to this event will benefit WTA Charities.
Consistent with its mission to support WTA communities, WTA Charities will make a donation to support the Maureen Connolly Brinker Tennis Foundation.
