Chris Evert – Guest Speaker
2017 “Little Mo” Internationals
in Florida

MCB was so honored to welcome Chris Evert, one of the greatest players of all time,  as the guest speaker for the 2017 “Little Mo” Internationals at the PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida from December 1-6, 2017. Approximately 470 players from 60 different countries participated in the event!

“Chris Evert was known as America’s tennis sweetheart during the tennis boom in the 70’s and 80’s. She had grace and beauty and was cool, calm, and collected on court. Her two-handed backhand was flawless and emulated by players around the world – young and old – who wanted to hit the ball as cleanly, smoothly and as precisely as Evert. She was also a role model of excellence and her career is highlighted by record-setting accomplishments as one of the greatest players of all time. She won six titles at the US Open, two titles at the Australian Open, three titles at Wimbledon, and an amazing seven titles at the French Open! During her nearly two decades on tour, Evert was never ranked lower than No. 4 in the world and ended the year ranked No. 1 seven times (1974-78, 1980, 1981). She currently oversees her tennis academy in Boca Raton, Florida named the Evert Tennis Academy (evertacademy.com). She also serves as a contributor and publisher of TENNIS Magazine and has been an analyst on several television networks including ESPN as a commentator for the Grand Slams.” Please see the full article on the International Tennis Hall of Fame’s website.
