In this special 40th anniversary year, the USA was victorious: 4-2. The match was well played and exciting until the end with the matches tied at 2-2 after the #4 singles. The USA won two very close doubles matches with a match tie-break to decide the winner. The United States leads the competition in victories 26-13 and took home the beautiful silver cup.
