Steve Johnson (USC graduate and standout tennis player)  is a semifinalist for the prestigious AAU James E. Sullivan Award, which is given annually to the top amateur US athlete. Based on the qualities of leadership, character, sportsmanship, and the ideals of amateurism, the AAU James E. Sullivan Award goes far beyond athletic accomplishments and honors those who have shown strong moral character.
